With the completion of
our second literacy unit, Tales of the Heart, kiddos had to put what they learned
to work. Everyone completed a totally independent research project. The topic
was self-selected (focusing on the human body), research done alone, presentation
created, and then shared with the class via Edmodo.
The presentation was
done by “app smashing” two different apps: ChatterPix and ThingLink. We had a
lot of fun making these and enjoyed seeing one another’s projects.
