Speeches

After hearing Patrick Henry's speech, we were motivated to take a stand and write our own, opinionated speech on a current event! After research, writing our speech, and practicing, we were ready to share our speeches today. It took great courage to stand in front of our peers to deliver these speeches. I was so proud of everyone, especially those who overcame their fears to give their speech. Nice work, kiddos!

Project Linus: Valentine's Party

We had a blast at our Valentine’s party today. Instead of focusing on ourselves, we decided to share our love with the community. Together we made fleece blankets for children in the hospital as a part of Project Linus. We will present our blankets next week when a representative from Project Linus comes to school to pick up our blankets. It felt good to focus on others this Valentine’s!
